The South Fork Friends Foundation is a philanthropic organization focused on enhancing South Fork’s unique appeal by funding activities that highlight its amazing beauty, build community relationships, encourage volunteerism and bring creative projects to life.
In 2020, the Greater South Fork Community Foundation, active since 2002, merged with the Friends of South Fork to create the new South Fork Friends Foundation. This combined the fundraising expertise of the GSFCF with the community service work of Friends to create a vibrant organization that serves our community. Over the years, your donations have helped do these and many other projects in South Fork:
The South Fork Friends Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors operating under a set of by-laws defining the scope and operation of the organization. Directors serve three year terms. In addition to the Board, the Committee is a working group of volunteers that carry out the various projects of the Foundation.

Beyond that:
We continue to raise funds to improve access to the park, complete the brick walkway and provide volleyball nets for multi-use. To contribute to this project simply mail your check to the South Fork Friends Foundation, PO Box 654, South Fork, Co. 81154. If you want your donation to be directed specifically to the Rickel Park project, write "Legacy Fund" on your check or include a note stating this.
You may also donate and by clicking the button on the below Just put "Legacy Fund" in the comments box on the donation page.
The South Fork Friends Foundation is currently honoring donations of $1000 and above with the name of your choice on a brick paving the future walkway at the park. Put your name, or that of a loved one, on an indelible piece of South Fork history with your tax-deductible donation.
